The School of Visual Communications completes many projects outside of the classroom that allow students to learn and grow from their experiences.

"Halloween" and "Dawn to Dusk" are projects that combine the work of photographers, page designers, and web designers to create unique multimedia presentations.

The School of Visual Communications also offers a variety of ways to recognize student work. University-sponsored exhibits and VisCom shows provide students with ways to display their achievements. Communication Week brings in alumni and other professionals from the industry to share their experiences.
