The School of Visual Communication (VisCom) offers an interdisciplinary visual communication degree in four specialized sequences: photojournalism, informational graphics and page design, commercial photography and interactive design.

VisCom has been twice recognized as a Program of Excellence by the Ohio Board of Regents. VisCom graduate students have earned eight Fulbright Fellowships in the past five years. Alumni are well represented in the leadership of media groups, magazines and newspaper design, editing and visual journalism staffs and design groups for both print and interactive information delivery.
