The School
of Visual Communication strives to maintain state-of-the-art

The software
used in the labs includes Microsoft Office, Macromedia Flash, inDesign, Adobe CS2 Suite, and Protools.
The Scripps College
of Communication Scripps Howard Multimedia Lab contains 32 Macintosh
G5 PowerPCs. Each computer is equipped with 256 mb ram, ZipDrives,
JazDrives, and color monitors. The software in this lab includes
Macromedia Director, Dreamweaver, Flash, Freehand, SoundEdit 16,
Premier, Photoshop, AfterEffects, ClarisWorks, Microsoft Office,
and Protools. The multimedia lab includes film and flatbed scanners,
CD-Rom writers, and DVD authoring. For more information on the
